The balanced bouquet and unique flavours is derived from an exclusive blend of aged rums, originated from the "Solera System" aging process. These mature rums have been produced only from the sweet first-cut virgin sugar cane honey. Ron Zacapa XO is matured at an altitude of 2300 metres in selected barrels that previously aged robust Bourbons, delicate Sherries and fine Pedro Ximénez wines. Ron Zacapa XO acquires its sophisticated and superior finish by resting the final blend in elegant French oak barrels.
