Masters Distiller Kevin Smith and barrel manufacturer Brad Boswell experimented together to create a completely new product which nevertheless corresponds to the manual tradition of Maker's Mark.
46 was the test number of the barrel which produced the worldwide unique method at long last according to which Maker's 46 is produced today.
The finest Maker's Mark bourbon is stored in addition in barrels with waved sticks made of French oak after its completion, until a special, unmistakable taste arises.
