Around the south Spanish city of Jerez an exceptional wine arises. Soil and best conditions create a special climate on 19.000 hectare of vineyard. Ample sun and the "Poniente", a refreshing, damp wind of the Atlantic, stamp it during the growing season. Apart from that a lot of rain falls in winter.

The house Emilio Lustau with its 20 hectares of vineyard was founded in 1896. It belongs to the few producers still situated in family property in Jerez. More than 20.000 barrels of sherry are stored in the old Bodega at best conditions. Sherries of the highest quality ripen as well as unique rarities - the Almacenistas.
