Around the south Spanish city of Jerez an unusual wine arises. Floor and best conditions create a special climate on 19.000 hectare of vineyard. "Poniente", a refreshing, damp wind of the Atlantic, and much sun characterize it during the vegetation time. On the other hand, it rains much in winter.

The house Emilio Lustau with its 20 hectares of vineyard was founded in 1896. It belongs to the few producers still situated in family property in Jerez. More than 20.000 barrels of sherry are stored in the old Bodega at best conditions. Sherries of the highest quality ripen as well as unique rarities - the Almacenistas.
