60 ml Jameson Caskmates
20 ml of lemon juice
20 ml of sugar syrup (2:1)
Fill up with beer (e.g. Pils) and give into a highball glass with ice cubes. Garnish with lemon peel optionally.
The story of Jameson Caskmates started in a bar in the Irish Cork. Here the Jameson Masters Brian Nation and Dave Quinn met the brewer Shane Long of the Franciscan Well Brewery. They decided in favour of a common project: They decided in favour of a common project: so some Jameson barrels went to the master brewer so that he could experiment with the influence of Whiskey barrels in taste on his Irish Stout Craft Beer. After the return of the barrels into the Middleton Distillery one filled them with Jameson Irish Whiskey once more. The maturity process following on this resulted in a new taste sensation: Jameson Caskmates.
