Description: A wine with fruity elegant substance and generous tasty warmth. The delicate fruit taste is in the foreground. The structure, the fragrance variety (after blackberries and elder) and strength awards an almost unmistakable type to the wine.

Drink recommendation: To typical "Rheinhessen Vesper" - a meal or snack of bread, cheese and cold cuts. To turkey, goose, duck, lamb veal or venison, to vegetarian dishes as well as to all cheese type.

This grape is cultivated in Germany in 1955 from a shoot of Helfensteiner and Herold, named after Immanuel Dornfeld, the founder of the wine school of civil engineering.
