Characteristics: A blend from 5-7 year of old cognac and a small amount of 25 years old cognacs.
Colour: Gold
Flavour: Fine smell of fruitcakes, raisins, apricots, coconut and caramel. Notes of roses, orange-blossoms, nutmeg and ginger develop.
Taste: Round and full-bodied with superficial oak and pepper notes, to this nuances of baked pear, honey, muscat grapes, pineapple and cloves. Finishes with a breath mint, accompanied by prunes, oranges and liquorice, and also vanilla and fresh tobacco.

Cognac Pierre Ferrand 10 Générations 1er Cru Grande Champagne was distilled on the yeast to intensify the flavour of this unusual speciality. The Cognac matured then for the most part for the first years in medium toasted second-hand Cognac barrels, but a smaller portion of 20% in new barrels made of French oak (350 l). Aafter that for 20% of the blend a last 1-year maturation in sauterne barrels (225 l )was carried out.
