Nonino Grappa lo Chardonnay Barrique

Marc is the oldest and traditional Liquor of Northern Italy. It is won from the distillation of the integral parts of the grapes, the Trester. The Nonino marc is distilled from fresh and soft grapes and fermented at controlled temperature.

The family Nonino devotes itself to the production of the finest marc already since 1897.
The native country connected family almost exclusively uses Marc of original types of vine which were partly already threatened of dying out. Their untiring effort for the preservation of these local kinds is unique in Italy. With the marc collection "Cru Monovitigno" the marc production was revolutionized in Italy. Marc from different individual layers, types of vine and years got burned and filled separate for the first time. These marc´s are restrictedly available. They are filled by hand into hand-blown bottles, to stress their purity and its special value.
