Characteristics: An intense ruby colored wine, with an aroma rich in ripe red berries and some chocolate notes. In the mouth it has a good freshness with young tannins that give it a long and elegant finish.
Drinking temperature: 14 - 16 °C

The LATE BOTTLED VINTAGE is from a year classified with "good", It confessed also under the name L.B.V.. It shows the qualities of a Vintage and stores 4 years on the barrel unlike it, before it is drawn on bottle. By the longer maturity in the mostly big wood barrel it is drinking ripe earlier as his big brother and form less depository.

Winemaking Process: Partial destemming, fermentation at controlled temperature (24 - 28 °C), when must reached the desired sweetness value, fermentation was interrupted by the add of brandy; following a period of maturation in oak barrels, in the warehouses of Vila Nova de Gaia; after approval was then bottled between the fourth and the sixth year.
