Original Tasting Notes.
During the 1970s and '80s, Frank Bobo oversaw the historic rise of the old No. 7 Brand. Throughout his watch, he never made enough whiskey to keep up with demand; he was more concentrrated about making every drop according to the slow, time-honored process the founder perfected.
Today, it is still produced according to the same method like in 1866. One uses the best grain to this day (corn, barley and rye), to produce the mash. He matures several years in white, toasted oak barrels before bottling.
