In 1824 The Glenlivet received the licence for burning as the first distillerie in the region Speyside. Already years before its favourite whisky was the single malt out of the pure spring water of Josie's Well been chosen by the British King Georg IV. A great success which continues to this day: The Glenlivet is one of the production strongest distilleries of the world.
Founder's Reserve unites heart and soul of The Glenlivet and is a tribute to the original vision of the founder George Smith: To create a timeless and gentle single malt.
