The name Glengoyne is deduced from "glen guin" meaning: Valley of the wild geese. The distillery lies in a picturesque landscape which is marked of green hills and dense woods. It is known as the most beautiful distillery in Scotland. And since 1833 the distillery produces unpeated whisky.
