Characteristics: Flavour of fruit cake, an exceptionally deep character, warm and rich. Sherry, cognac, brandy, fruits, nuts and marzipan, everything united in a glass.
Colour: Full dark gold
Flavour: Full and complex, fruit and sherry notes as well as soft malt flavours.
Finish: Never ending aftertaste, full and exquisitely with a note of hot chocolate.
Special: 2005 Gold medal - International Spirits Challenge, London.

In the year 1865 John Grant, born 16.5.1805, purchased the distillery Glenfarclas. The name meant translates: Valley of the green grazing land.

For those days the tradition of whisky distilling has been passed on by generation to generation. Today, the distillery is already conducted by George S. Grant in the 6th generation.
