The island of Barbados is the easternmost of the Lesser Antilles and the complete caribbean. Barbados was discovered after 1500 by the Spaniards and in the year 1625 the brits took the island of the Portuguese. Already some years later the rum production started in Barbados and held forth on the whole caribbean from there.
The family business R.L. Seale produces since 1820 Barbados rum of highest quality and belongs to the oldest business houses of the island. The acting master distiller, Richard Seale, is regarded as one of the most innovative rum specialists of the region and is famous for his perfectly balanced and particularly taste intensive rum qualities.
