Over years Giovanni Nergo, founder of Turin Vermouth, experimented at natural extracts and solutions from herbs and spices in his leisure time. He orientated himself at old family recipes which had been bequeathed by generation to generation. He produced only a couple of few bottles of liqueur for the family and friends. These encouraged and convinced him not only selling the "house concoctions" to friends and acquaintances, but founding a distillery. The naming was easy, he called his enterprise to the birth place of the Vermouth and his liqueurs: Turin Vermouth.
