| Characteristics: | Produced with only two botanicals from Cairngorm National Park - rose hip and juniper. Both botanicals are reaped by the head of the company, Jonathan Engels, by hand in the Scottish Highlands. Jonathan has revived a tradition already forgotten for a long time with that, the harvest of a Scottish juniper. Both ingredients are not dried but further processed freshly. Due to this unusual method Crossbill gin gets a particularly intensively fruity flavour. |
Jonathan of Engels is the head behind Crossbill gin. When he started with the production in 2016, he had the idea of returning to a tradition lost for 200 years, the harvest of a Scottish wild juniper. Name giver for Crossbill is the common crossbill resident in the Highlands.
