| Characteristics: | A malty tang. Oil, grit and grist. Summons the mill house of old. Then cinnamon and a menthol dunt. Pigheaded big flavoured. Sweet and sulphur with each mouthful. A muckle meaty dram. |

Since 1891 whisky is produced there according to a traditional method. The whisky gets its unique taste by the curved copper tubes used for the cooling, the so-called "worm tube". The Malts get their characteristic notes through this.
