Pisco is a distillate from grapes. The Elqui valley in which the grapes grow, is in the midst of one of the driest deserts of the world. The countries and vineyards are watered with snow water from the Andes. Pisco Sour is the national drink of the Chileans:
6 cl Pisco, 3 cl sugar syrup, 2 cl lime juice, 1 egg white, 4-5 ice cubes, Angostura bitters.
Fill all ingredients into a shaker or blender together with the ice, except for Angostura bitters. Shake strongly and pour into a cocktail glass. At will still give up some drops of Angostura bitters.
