1881 Albert Bacon Blanton was born into a renowned whisky family. At first he started as a junior clerk in the distillery with 16, however, already changed early to the production which fascinated him. The young Blanton developed into one of the leading sappers in the whisky business in only short time. Albert Blanton developed a quality bourbon which worldwide filled whisky connoisseurs with enthusiasm. He put the foundation stone with the choice of the barrels from an American holm oak for this bourbon. And specialized in the development of single barrel of bourbons in limited edition.
