Absinthe Kübler goes back to a story rich in tradition. The family-owned enterprise distilled her first Absinthe in Val-de-Travers in the Jura Mountains in 1863.
Yves Kübler, great-grandchild of the founder of the distillery Kübler, started again the Absinthe production on October 10th, 2001 and with that the spirit of the Absinthe resurrected after almost a century.
Since the 01.03.2005 Absinths may be produced and sold in Switzerland again. With the new situation it is possible now finally again to distil Absinthe. The previous " Extrait d'Absinthe Kübler 45 or 57 " ( Wormwood extract) has thus clapped-outly. For the new "53s" the formula was revised thoroughly.
Foremost herbs of the Val-de-Travers are used for the production - among others green anise, star anise, fennel, balm, hyssop and coriander. However, the most important component is the wormwood cultivated there again since 2 years. He guarantees that the flavuor of today's Absinthe Kübler corresponds to what one knew before the Absinthe prohibition.
Yves Kübler guarantees personally the quality of the finished raw materials and the unique taste of this product rich in tradition.
