The maturity of Aberlour 12 Years Double Cask Matured is carried out separated in sherry and bourbon barrels through what it attains its deep character and its typically balanced taste, the depth and complexity.
The distillery in the heart of the Scottish Speyside makes use of a water source of its own the "St. Drostan´s Well". This water is used for the whisky production completely untreatedly. It is pure from nature and gives Aberlour its characteristic and unadulterated taste.
