Pisco Sour Peru: The Pisco Sour enjoys the status of a national drink in Peru. He was mentioned for the first time in 1928 in an advertisement of the Morris Bar in Lima, in the publication Lima, la Ciudad de los Virreyes. For the Pisco Sour a not aromatic Pisco is typically used by the type Quebranta. There, however, also are enthusiasts of variations based on the aromatic Pisco Italia or based on Acholado. Try variations with different Piscos.
Ingredients: 9 cl Pisco Quebranta, 3 cl sugar syrup, 3 cl freshly pressed lime juice, 1 egg-white, 6 ice cubes, 2 drops Angostura bitters bitter.
Preparation in the shaker: Mix the Pisco with the sugar syrup first. If these are mixed well, you enclose the freshly pressed lime juice, the ice and the egg-white. Mix everything in the shaker for approx. 8 seconds. Fill the Pisco Sour into a glass now and sprinkle it with two drops Angostura bitter.
