Characteristics: Fizzy pearl game with fine, light pearls which gracefully and leisurely develop like an arabesque at the surface.

Flavour: An airy and soft character in the nose first. After that notes of dried fruits (almonds, figs, apricots), ripe white fruits (pears) and finally subtle roasting notes of hazelnut and chocolate present themselves. These exquisite pastries notes form a good balance with the freshness and clarity of the mixture.
Taste: The prelude is strong and cunning at the palate. La Grande Dame 2008 awards a silky texture to young fruits which is carried by citrus and red fruits (cherry). The Pinot Noir, the handwriting of the Veuve Clicquot style, shines by its freshness, minerality and strength. A perfect combination from complexity, structure and strength.
Finish: It joins together to an elegant and perfect balance of freshness and structure which is underlined by the perfect dosage.
