The cacao brandy is produced from roasted cacao beans and 100% cacao batch. The heart of the cacao bean from the aromatic beans of the Trinitarios of Bolivia is centre of this unique and a little different cacao pleasure. So that all flavours develop fully, the roast must be carried out at a certain temperature. The roasted cacao beans are then distilled again with the 100 per cent cacao batch.
The distillery Hubertus Vallendar was chosen the "Distillery of The Year 2011" in two of three possible categories and therefore it is the superstar of the World Spirits Awards 2011 and again in 2012.
