| Barrel: | The first maturity period is carried out in barrels made of new American white oak (225 litres). Then in barrels in which sherry, port or sauterne was stored before. |

| Taste: | Firm, malty aromatically, complexe aromatic profil, reminding of vanilla and hay. Sharp herbs, cloves, sal ammoniac, walnuts, mandarins. Seasoning notes after savoury, lovage as well as earthy notes after moss, spruce wood, mushrooms, resin, roasted chestnut, prunes and chocolate. |

Since 1999 the distillery SLYRS produced the first and only upper Bavarian Single Malt Whisky in the classic rough and fine distillation method.
