| Barrel | The first maturity period is carried out in barrels made of new American white oak (225 litres). Then in barrels in which sherry, port or sauterne was stored before. |

Since 1999 the distillery SLYRS produced the first and only upper Bavarian Single Malt Whisky in the classic rough and fine distillation method.
