Roe & Co Irish Whiskey

Roe & Co Irish Whiskey is a combination of Irish malt & grain whiskeys hand-graded by Master Blender Caroline Martin.   

The name Roe & Co goes back on George Roe, once a world-famous whisky distiller which decisively contributed in the 19th century that the Irish Whiskey went through a really golden era at that time. However, the distillery George Roe and Co. was not only Irelands greatest whiskey exporter but also the direct neighbour of the brewery Guinness, the second strongest top dog in Dublin's historical breweries and distilleries quarter. Because of the Prohibition in America and more favourable competitors from Scotland the distillery rich in tradition had to close 1926. The only relics of the historical place are the St. Patrick's Tower and the pear tree growing at the foot. These two symbols were taken at Roe & Co to tell the stirring history of George Roe.

PEAR TREE
5 cl Roe & Co
2 cl pear juice
1 cl lemon juice
1.5 cl sugar syrup

Decoration: Pear slice (fresh/dried/desiccated)

The PEAR TREE drink is a twist on the whisky Sour cocktail and symbolizes the pear tree growing at the foot of the St.Patrick‘s Tower. The pear juice together with the lemon juice offers a thrilling sweetness/acid relationship.
