| Characteristics | With a dark red colour, the 2009 Vintage Port has an intense personality, with ripe berries aromas, jam and hints of blackberries while young, turning to a complex bouquet and full of tertiary aromas with the ageing. It has always a powerful mouth feeling, with a remarkable structure, revealing a long aftertaste. |

Vintage Port is a year port from an only, extremely good wine year, with a very fine bouquet and of deeply deep red colour. Vintage ports are drawn on bottles after two to three years barrel maturity. They further mature here. Since the Vintage ages in bottles, it must be carefully decanted before enjoying.
