Already in the year 1912 Edouard Martell created the meanwhile legendary Cognac Martell Cordon Bleu. It matures up to 30 years in oak barrels. The excellent cognac gets its complexity and rich flavours of the strength and wealth of the distillates already chosen in front of two generations of Grande and Petite Champagne and the fineness of very old Borderies, some older than 50 years.

The house Martell became already founded in 1715. The brand exclusively chooses Crus from the region Cognac and has developed its own traditional distillation method. The vintner perfects the products by the maturation in fine-grained oak barrels at the end.
