"Almacenista": in literal translation means "storekeeper". The tiny cellars of the Almacenistas are famous for their treasures: worthy Sherries of the classic vineyard situations. The sherries ripen untouchedly and slowly and they are not blended.
By most laborious enquiries of the house Lustau small sets of the finest of these wines could tracked down and being filled without every cellar technical treatment. On the etiquettes of each of these rare bottles are both, the name of the Almacenista and the number of barrels, which could be filled from the complete stock, indicated, a true relic from the early days of the sherry trade.
