No Manhattan cocktail without a good rye whisky!
Who likes seasoning, strength and expression in its pure form is exactly right here. After everybody thought that Canadian whisky always is made of rye, Dr. Don Livermore has actually created a rye whisky after its original example which makes all honour to the name "Canadian RYE" now.
Lot 40 was, the name of the property which one pioneer Joshua Booth was ascribed to, when he emigrated to Canada after the end of the civil war in the USA and on which one he started to distil whisky. Livermore considers itself a part of this tradition and so Lot 40 is a tribute not least to the founders of the Canadian whisky culture.
