Article: | J.P. Wiser's Triple Barrel 10 Years Old |
Country: | Canada |
Whisk(e)y type: | Canadian Whisky |
Producer: | J.P. Wiser |
Age: | 10 years at least |
Barrel: | Used Canadian whisky barrels, bourbon-barrels then and at the end new barrels made of white oak. |
Alcohol: | 40% |
Characteristics: | This blend is a modern interpretation of the original Canadian whisky which previously had a very high rye content. In the course of the Prohibition this has gone back, however. Less seasoning drinks itself better if one is not used to it. Today's taste has got more complex and more serious again and so it does not astonish that more rye is found again in this first-class blend. |
Colour: | Rich copper |
Flavour: | Caramel, toffee, vanilla, dried peach, green apple, black pepper, nutmeg. |
Taste: | Roasted spices, vanilla, light wood, caramel. |
Finish: | Medium-long, green apple, peach, nutmeg. |
Drink recommendation: | Pure , on the rocks, in cocktails and long drinks. |

J.P.'s Apple
5 cl J.P. Wiser's 10 years
