Description: Deep, dark ruby red with intensive, crimson reflexes. The wine has a round, full body, an elegant balance between fruit sweetness and acid, soft tannins and a harmonious finish of middle length.
Alcohol: 14%
Drinking temperature: 18° C
Drink recommendation: To game, tasty cheese and desserts, chocolate.

The Vinification:
This 100% Primitivo is produced traditionally. Completely ripe grapes are harvested. A temperature controlled fermentation is carried out into steel tanks by using selected yeasts. Some further days of the maceration give the wine an additional structure.

The wine-growing estate:
The wine empire Angelo Rocca & Figli became founded in 1880 by Francesco Rocca and is managed by the grandson Ernesto and his sons today. A real family wine-growing estate with 80 hectares of vineyards in the municipality of Leverano in the heart of Salento. Not only the wines from Apulia are bottled in the winery there, but also select wines from the most respected regions of Italy. The portfolio of the enormously experienced wine doers reaches from uncomplicated, unbelievably good entry wines up to the profound top-quality wine.
