In the south of Salzburg, in the old town Hallein lies the oldest distillery of the country. The Guglhof was set up in 1641. It is led since generations as a family company.
The Flavour sparing fermentation is carried out exclusively in temperature controlled noble steel containers. The brandy is distilled two times according to an old method. No sugar is added neither to the mash nor to the distillate. After the maturity time in the cellar, the limited editions are filled by hand into the classic Guglhof bottles. Many awards show high quality.
