Country: Scotland
Region: Northern Highlands
Whisk(e)y type: Single Malt
Distillery: Glenmorangie
Age: 18 Years
Barrel: Bourbon and Sherry
Flavour: Oranges, dates and walnuts.
Taste: It flows with a prelude of grapefruit and orange in a full, rounded flavour like silk over the tongue. A note of tender honey, creamy malt and aromatic flowery notes, then touches the palate. It changes into warm hazel and walnut syrup notes from the Oloroso sherry barrels in which the whisky matures.
Finish: Long and attractive with the soft sweetness of dried fruit and the nutty dryness of sherry.

The exquisite purity of single malt whisky produced by the Glenmorangie distillery is testament to a tradition that dates back to 1843. On the south side of the Dornoch Firth, The Sixteen Men Of Tain follow the mystical art of turning barley and water into this famously complex and alluring malt whisky.
