In the year 1865 John Grant, born 16.5.1805, purchased the distillery Glenfarclas. The name meant translates: Valley of the green grazing land.
For those days the tradition of whisky distilling has been passed on by generation to generation. Today, John L.S. Grant already conducts the distillery into 5th generation.
