| Characteristics: | The classic Glen Scotia maritime influence is balanced with a smouldering peat with spiced baked apples and cloves on the nose. The palate brings familiar Glen Scotia flavours of citrus (lemon), sweet vanilla syrup and fresh cut barley. The finish is long and dry with a warming sweet peat note and cracked black pepper bringing a spice. |

The distillery Glen Scotia was founded in 1832 and is one of only three remaining original distilleries in the former whisky stronghold Campbeltown. It closed multiple times and since the 8oth it has only produced sporadically.
