The base of G-Vine Floraison is the uniquely and centuries-old Ugni Blanc grape. Every year in September the grapes are reaped and immediately processed to wine. The following 4-fold distillation lets arise a neutral grape distillate which is much rounder, has a complex body and a new flavour unlike traditional gin which is based on grain.
The flower of the Ugni-Blanc vine appears in the middle of June only for some days and is carefully picked by hand at this time. This is then macerated in the neutral distillate (the alcohol steams are conducted directly over the flowers and take the flavours along).
Nine selected botanicals are distilled in the neutral grape extract.
The essence of the flowers, the distillate of the botanicals and the neutral distillate of the Ugni-Blanc grapes are "blended" in the perfect relationship and then "married" in the course of a Copper-Pot distillation.
