Article: 2017 The Long Little Dog Rouge Paul Boutinot Languedoc
Country: France
Growing area: Pays d'Oc, Languedoc-Roussillon
Category: Red wine, dry
Classification: Vin de Pays d'Oc
Producer: Paul Boutinot
Grape variety: Grenache Noir and Syrah
Description: Deep dark, brightly red colour. In the nose intense fruit notes together with beautiful southern "warmth". Flavours of ripe plums, beautifully juicy let themselves be seen superficially at the palate with a round but present texture, completed by easily tasty notes at the end. The wine has a fruit emphatic style, specified by blackberry, a good backbone, however, with a beautiful structure.
Alcohol: 13.0%
Drink recommendation: Perfect to mixed antipasti as well as to pasta with tomato and meat sauces. Of course the wine can also fantastically be enjoyed on its own.

De-stemming takes place prior to pressing with regular pigeage and remontage during the cuvasion. As a result, the finished wine has beautifully rounded tannins.
