The tradition of the famous Chateau Bouteilley reaches  back up the year 1617 in whith it was founded. As a present of the king Ludwig XIII to his cellarer the Domaine was continued successfully and extended little by little. For now 350 years the family Guillot (famous Negociant- family) may call owner herself.

Numerous investments and expansions of the vineyards let the Domaine grow up fast to one of the meaning companies in the region with a total volume of 40 hectares. It is of course not obvious that such a "little" Château uses only best barrique of French Limousin oak, has most modern cellar technology and the best cellarer and oenologists. Therefore the „Château Bouteilley“ enjoys its reputation as one of the best companies of its Appellation.
