On Domaine d' Uby, in the hills of the Gascogne the wine-growing is already done in the midst of unique, protected surroundings for over one hundred years. The vineyards extend over 100 hectares of a terroir characterized by so-called "Boulbènes" (clay floors containing sand) and reddish sand today, and was restructured completely due to increased quality claims within the last years. The complete domain is operated according to the official quality concept of the sustainable agriculture today, that provides the saving of the environment and obligatory rules for the production of wines of constant quality.
