In the year 1971 shortly before the two hundredth anniversary of the foundation of Sanchez Romate Hermans 38 oak barrels of Cardenal Mendoza were put back in remembrance of this date.
Later Non Plus Ultra arose from this limited stock. An incomparable brandy which expresses the brilliant story of the house.
