Stiùreadair (Gaelic) means: Helmsman

Fresh optics and an impressive taste characterized of sea and toffee, one can describe the new Stiùreadair so best. Bunnahabhain dedicates a new whisky to its brand figure. The distillery lauchnes a new NAS (non age statement) whisky with Stiùireadair, who contains the maritime DNA of Bunnahabhain, by its storage in first- and second-fill sherry casks, without stressing the storage time.

Bunnahabhain originates from the Gaelic and means "mouth of the river". Meant is the Margadale River which flows just behind the distillery and delivers the pure spring water for this whisky. This clear water, the tastily malted barley (spring barley from the area of Berwick upon tweed) and the traditional distillation methods make Bunnahabhain a uniquely gentle taste experience to this day.
