Whisk(e)y type: Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery: Bunnahabhain
Bottler: Bunnahabhain Distillery
Alcohol: 46.3%
Characteristics: Contains a meaningful share of barrel mature Bunnahabhain whiskies of different age which matured in former red wine casks.
Colour: Amber-gold
Taste: Roasted nuts and fruits with hints of sea salt and smoke, further enhanced by sweet, rich and spicy aromas imparted by the Italian and French red wine influence.

Eirigh Na Greine (pronounced Ae-ree ne gray-nyuh) is meaning "Morning Sky" in Gaelic.

Bunnahabhain originates from the Gaelic and means "mouth of the river". Meant is the Margadale River which flows just behind the distillery and delivers the pure spring water for this whisky. This clear water, the tastily malted barley (spring barley from the area of Berwick upon tweed) and the traditional distillation methods make Bunnahabhain a uniquely gentle taste experience to this day.
