Palo Cortado is a very special wine, both elegant and unique, which comes from certain Jerez wines which are particular for their fermentation and ageing in oak barrels where their atypical characteristics were developed: elegant in the nose and full in the mouth. Only approx. 1% of the worldwide sherry annual production gets fully developed as Palo Cortado. One of the classic Palo Cortado from that time is that which we find in the Palo Coratado tradicion VORS; a subtle, delicate wine, which, after losing the flor, has finished its ageing process in contact with the oxygen.
If the bottle is unopened, this wine will remain in perfect condition and even improve with time. Once the bottle has been opened, the wine will remain completely stable for up to 12 month, as long as it is kept in the vertical position and out of direct light (16-18°C).
