Yalumba is Australia's oldest wine-growing estate situated in family property. The success story of the family Hill Smith started in 1849. Yalumba is more than 170 years later and meanwhile with considerably more vineyard possessions under Robert Hill Smith's management today, founded by the English master brewer Samuel Smith on 120 hectares of land. Six generations have made it one of the most important wine-growing estates of all of Australia. Yalumba has its corporate centre in the heart of the Barossa Valley in the village of Angaston. The clock tower of the parent company is part of the emblems of the region. From Barossa, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and Wrattonbully, are the high-quality wines of Yalumba as well as these in restricted lots of available noble top plants. Excellent vineyard possessions are joined by most modern cellar technology, shoot cultivation and cooperage. So Yalumba can offer a wide range of goods of most different vintage wines on the highest standard with an individual character.
