Adnams Triple Malt Whisky is a really unique product for which three malted corn types were used. It is presumably even the first whisky of this kind! For this exciting spirits the Adnams team has recourse to about 140 years of experience of brewing and distilling. Specialized knowledge meets a considerable inheritance and innovative, specifically developed production operations. The whole is rounded off by wheat, barley and oats. Adnams have ventured an experiment and mixed the three corn types with each other to create a Triple malt whisky with a quite special mash. [IMPORTANT: Single malt whiskies is not a blend from three Single Malt Whiskys, but a blend from three malted corn types!]
Be based on 60% wheat, 30% barley and 10% oats. The wheat provides extra softness; the barley adds notes of roasting flavours, toffee and cereals; and the oats make the whisky creamy and extensive.
