Flavour: Dried fruits, vanilla and toffee, soft liquorice with a winy character.
Taste: Tasty with a soft note after black nuts, slight vanilla note with spices and herbs.
Finish: Lasting warmth with melted tannins and sweet, fruity vanilla.
Drinking temperature: 16 - 18 °C
Drink recommendation: As a digestif or as an addition to an espresso or to chocolate (with high cocoa amount). Excellently suitable for the cigar.

The house Pierre Ferrand is part of the best and most important manufacturers of cognacs from the Grande Champagne. The storage of the cognac is carried out in little oak barrels made of Limousin oak there.

It was possible for the company Ziegler to purchase a couple of these barrels which then was covered with newmake whisky in the year 2010. After meanwhile 7-year maturity period this limited special edition is presented with pride.
