Article: | The Duke Munich Dry Gin Wanderlust |
Country: | Germany |
Region: | Munich |
Producer: | The Duke Destillerie |
Alcohol: | 47% |
Characteristics: | Produced from classics like juniper and coriander. Noble flowers of edelweiss and cornflower, arnica, rose as well as of beguiling poppy award the gentle honey flavour. Raspberry bushes provide a clear fruity note. The cocoa bean, with the exception of far away lands, guarantees the full-bodied body. The gin in usually gentle way is rounded off by hops and malt. |
Special: | All herbs and spices date from purely biological cultivation. |
The disitllery once established in a little Munich backyard by Daniel Schönecker und Maximilian Schauerte, is now situated in Aschheim on the edge of Munich. The business is bio-certified
Just like the choice of best ingredients the distillation is authoritative for quality and taste of every gin. Herbs and spices are steeped in an alcohol bath, the so-called maceration. The macerate is then distilled at low temperatures to save the flavour best. The double filtration provides the clarity and purity of the distillate.
The gin is filled, labeled and packed by hand after short storage. The production in small batches guarantees the quality class of this gin.
