Originating in Asia, many different breeds of Morello cherry are cultivated across the globe today. At the perfect time of harvest the oval, red and shiny fruits burst with juicy, sweet and sour flavours.

The morello cherry schnapps is a composition of three precious kinds: "Köröser", "Kelleries 16" and "Gorsem". Cultivated in the sunny regions of southern Styria (Austria) the cherries are hand-picked when they have ripened to perfection. They are turned carefully into mash for fermentation immediately without breaking the pits.

After the naturally fermentation the pit-free mash is distilled carefully twice in the copper pot stills. The precious so-called middle cut then matures in open glass balloons for minimum four years.
